Yoga, Meditation and Sacred Sound – a
certificated course
A fun and revitalising week in which to discover
the magical power of your voice combined with yoga and
meditation.
The workshop is designed to release blocks whether
physically by improving breathing or range of movement or
emotionally by allowing inhibitions and long held mis-beliefs
about ourselves (such as "I can’t sing") to be released so
that we can then open up to a new voice and a new more whole
and resonant sounding form of ourselves which in turn boosts
self confidence.
The yoga helps with relaxation, breathing, stretching,
releasing toxins, calming, focussing. In the voice workshops
we will be laughing, humming, toning, chanting and singing
affirmations together. It is just wonderful to sing joyously
in a group and connect to ourselves and to one another. It's
also a chance to tune in to ourselves and others for self
healing and to offer healing sounds to other group members.
Narayani is an experienced yoga teacher who has completed
a five year training with the Dharma Yoga Centre and more
recently with the British Wheel of Yoga. She is also a sound
healer and tutor of the College of Sound Healing.
Attendance at the workshops will be equivalent to the
introduction to sound healing module of the sound healing
practitioner training that is offered with the College of
Sound Healing. You may come on this workshop just for your
own enjoyment. You may then wish to take further steps by
undergoing the remainder of the full training available in
the UK with me and other tutors of the College throughout
the UK

Sound Healing is a simple and effective stand alone
therapy which can also complement other healing/bodywork
therapy.

starts September for two to three weeks.
Come and have a vivid
experience, working and playing at our Centre in leafy Mount
Pilion. Volunteers are needed to help dismantle our various
outdoor structures, to cook, garden, paint, and help 'put the
Centre to bed' for the Winter.

is a time to savour...the diamond-clear sea is warm and inviting, the
big red apples and shiny sweet-chestnuts roll onto the road-sides, and
the air is good enough to eat! All this, good company, laughter and a
sense of community.

aspects of maintaining the centre in particular helping to
cook the main meal and joining the after dinner cleanup rota.
In practice, this usually works out at less than 4 or 5 hours
a week. This practical contribution helps to make our
